James I. O’Neill High School Class of 1983 and Friends 30th Reunion!!!

It’s time!  Time to take that stroll down Memory Lane.  Time to renew old friendships, share stories and see who’s up to what.  Can you believe it’s been 30 years??? Yes, the JIOHS Class of ’83 Reunion is coming to town for the weekend of July 20^th and you’re going to need Every Breath You Take cuz’ it’s going to be a Thriller of a weekend!

If you’re asking, “Should I Stay or Should I Go?” Here’s what’s happening:

We’re kicking things off with a light mixer on Friday, July 19^th at the West Point Class of 1949 Lodge from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.  There will be appetizers, beer, wine, sodas, and lots of your old friends playing Who Can It Be Now?  Bring your camera and take a Photograph or two!

On Saturday, we have arranged to have an informal tour of James I. O’Neill High School.  We scheduled it for
12:00 so you’ll still have time to sleep in Saturday morning. ;) You’ll get to set foot on our old stomping grounds after 30 years!  We’ll tour the hallways, peek into a Class room or two, see the gym, library, cafeteria and the grounds.  You can see what it would be like Trading Places with today’s students.  What do you suppose happened to the smoking patio?  Join us and find out.

Then… The Main Event!  The JIOHS Class of 1983 Reunion will Rock the Casbah on Saturday, July 20^th at The West Point Club from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.  Please join us in the Pierce Dining Room for a scrumptious buffet dinner (No Foolin’), wine, beer, sodas and a DJ Hudson Valley spinning tunes that’ll have you pullin’ All the Right Moves in no time, so Let’s Dance the night away!  Dress is However-You-Feel-Like-Dressing.  And keep your fingers crossed, we may even have a surprise guest!  But for now Our Lips are Sealed.  We wanted to party like it was 1999, but 2013 is now My Favorite Year!

Besides the official events of the weekend, you can count on meeting up with friends at local watering holes for brunch, lunch, happy hour and after-parties.

Now, the Reunion Committee has laid down the venues for the weekend but we need your help with one thing: Help us find our missing classmates so they don’t miss out on what is sure to be the best reunion yet!  Do you know a classmate that’s dropped off the radar?  Are you in touch with that individual that doesn’t cyber-socialize.  Pick up the phone, send ‘em a note, knock on their door.  Tell them about this fabulous weekend.  We don’t want to let anyone slip through the cracks.  Help us find every classmate!
